Artist Statement: I have been making art as long as I can remember. My mother was a potter and taught me from an early age how to notice beauty in the world around me. For me, art is a form of communication, an outlet for play and for pain, and an expression of worship.

Bio: I am an artist/homemaker living in Niles. MI. I am a graduate of Alma College with a background in elementary education and art. I've taken classes at South Bend Art Center, Buchanan Art Center and Fernwood Botanical Gardens in Buchanan. I have worked with several kinds of media , including watercolor, mosaics and collage .
