Artist Statement: So many of my images center on seeking spiritual food, in this case feeding from the Tree of Life, which for me is a pre-incarnation symbol of Christ.

Bio: I’ve been drawing and painting since a child, then studied Fine Arts at Galveston College, College of the Mainland, and University of Texas at El Paso. Most of my images involve animals in their native environments and many of them tell spiritual stories or spiritual truths. I’m also a retired nurse and a Texas Master Naturalist.
