Artist Statement:
- I Am the Way, the Truth, the Life

Bio: I am a mixed media artist and calligrapher working with an emphasis on ministry and respect for all God's creation. I have expressed my faith in God through the arts since my earliest childhood memories. My first art training began when I was ten years old. I continued studying the arts in junior high school, high school, trade school, college, universities and workshops. My studies began with artist Gertrude Richardson with the South Bay Art Association in Redondo Beach, California.
I continued studying art at Adams Junior High, Redondo Beach, California and Redondo Union High School. In my senior year of high school I completed a year-long program studying Advertising Design at the Southern California Regional Occupational Center, Torrance, California. I studied Art History, Fine Art, Design and Calligraphy at El Camino College, Torrance, California. I continued my studies of illustration, color theory, color psychology, cultural anthropology and sociology at the San Diego Art Institute. I completed a Prior Learning from Experience program at The Evergreen State College, Olympia, Washington called The Art of Therapy and studied Community Psychology.
