Frank Logue

Evening Reflections

Photograph

Artist Statement: Banks Lake National Wildlife Refuge just east of Lakeland, Georgia, is a favorite spot of mine and I had planned out this 180-degree photo for a while, testing it out when the light was not right to have a sense of the photo I wanted to take when the conditions were just right. I was amazed by the painterly impression of the clouds in the sky and in the lake.

Bio: Frank Logue is the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia. A former newspaper photographer, he documents the diocese on his travels for work, even as he enjoys continuing to take fine art photos in his other travels. In recent years, drone photography has become a part of his tool kit for capturing unique perspectives. A member of ECVA from its founding, he and his daughter, Griffin, have curated an exhibition, as have he and his wife, Victoria.
