Artist Statement: This image is from a trip to Hawaii at “the end of Covid” in December 2021. Although Bob usually works with a Canon 4D, believe it or not, these images were taken on an iPhone 13. Bio: The Rev. Robert Tate has been the Treasurer of the Board of ECVA for over 15 years. In 2009, Bob “retired” as Rector of The Church of St. Martin-in-the Fields in Philadelphia, after 35 years of full-time parish ministry. Bob then served for 8 years as the part-time Director of Visual Arts at the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral, where he curated over 40 art exhibits in the nave. He also convened the Philadelphia Chapter of ECVA. A life-long amateur photographer, this is the first time Bob has submitted work to an ECVA virtual exhibit. |
