Artist Statement: You are seeing a moment in time, “still this moment,” which enables you to look with care. Following an ice storm, the warm air is allowing the iced leaves to melt, and drop are hanging from each leaf tip. The wonder of this moment.

I invite you to pause, allow yourself to be lost in the wonder of it all.

You and I will experience this wonder in our unique way.

May you look without being told what to look for.

May a breeze from nowhere open your heart.

Bio: John Holliger comes alive walking the Lake Erie shore, slogging through wetlands, learning the habitats of forests in Ohio, the stories the rocks are telling, watching the movement from starry nights to the first light of day. A graduate of Oberlin College and Yale Divinity School, John is an Episcopal priest who served parishes in Connecticut and Ohio. His website is www.photographybyjohnholliger.net
