Artist Statement: The moon always sets at the horizon with great speed. Here, in an Ohio Nature Preserve.

This moment of wonder is made still, so that you and I may pause and look with deepening care.

I invite you to allow yourself to be lost in the wonder of this moment, and go deep, listen for what is stirred within that has been waiting to speak to you in this moment.

May you gaze without being told what to look for.

May a breeze from nowhere open your heart.

Bio: John Holliger comes alive walking the Lake Erie shore, slogging through wetlands, learning the habitats of forests in Ohio, the stories the rocks are telling, watching the movement from starry nights to the first light of day.
