The Shepherdess
It was not enough just to lead and feed them, she had
to get close, look into their eyes, smell them and feel
their breadth against her neck.
The Dancer
It wasn’t that she needed an audience, but she did
gain inspiration from knowing the spiritual effect
her dancing was having on others. They
mimicked her steps beautifully and when they
moved as one body she quietly left the stage,
stealing away, spent and free.
The Girl with the Checkered Past
She found freedom in knowing that erasing the
checks from her past was not her job –
living into the fullness of forgiveness, was.
