Encountering Chrst with the Children

This window of Christ with the children is a remnant of our original structure it doesn't match the colors or theme of the other windows so it is tucked away in the very last pew in a dark corner of St. Paul's. I have taken several photographs of children by this window, sometimes when they pose facing me they blend in becoming as close to Jesus' lap as their timeless painted neighbors. My youngest son, Simon was too curious to smile and turn to the camera. At times like this I hear a little voice reminding me to let him explore God for himself, let him take his time and come closer.
