Pentecost is a site-specific sculpture of fifty painted lengths of nylon net. It is hung from two anchoring points in the front, but each piece is also anchored from its own independent location. The work responds to air movement in the space.
Nancy has adorned sacred spaces for about 25 years, working in most denominational settings for special events, seasons, or conferences. Her teaching is bicoastal in various seminaries. She accepts commissions for work that is site-specific or she will work with the local parish or church to create their own work.
