| Through a Dark Tree Photograph |
Artist Statement: Immediately this tree put me in touch with layers of hope. This past Holy Week and Easter this photograph was an image of the events remembered and celebrated. The photo also revealed all of God at work: the Trinity working God’s magic.
Bio: Richard Bellows focuses on strange beauty that often involves the sky and trees and water. He looks for chaotic systems, that show both order and disorder, reflecting God's whimsey and the divine playfulness with creation. He lives in western Massachusetts with his wife and camera. He enjoys hiking, kayaking, and visits with his grown children, usually with his camera (or his phone). |
