"Expectations" (kneelers) is an image made in response to the found still life of the carved cross of calvary and awaiting kneelers. It evokes the darkness of Lent contrasted with the light of hope.
During her travels, Colleen Meacham photographs the light of candles, worn wood, stone and landscapes that speak of the generations who have stepped there and worshipped there – the seen representing the unseen.
