God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. (I Corinthians 2.10)

This scripture evokes for me the dove as symbol for the Holy Spirit, not in a gentle descending but in a sweeping and enveloping movement of power and presence.
