Ellen Francis

The Rev. Li Tim-Oi was ordained by Bishop Hall in China in 1944. When he ordained her, she was already in charge of a parish and he said that the ordination was only confirming what the Holy Spirit had already ordained.

Ellen Francis, OSH, is a sister of the Order of St. Helena and a priest in the Diocese of NY. She studied drawing and painting at the School of Visual Arts in NYC and iconography with the Rev. John Walsted.
