Garden of Eden was commissioned by a clergy couple who wanted a visual reminder in their home of God's original blessing and friendship. I had fun with this painting using animals I was fortunate to see in their natural habitat during missionary service in Uganda (1998). While Eve is talking to the serpent, I continue to smile that the baboons are the ones eating the apple! (lower left)
