My work is simply about my belief that God's world is everywhere. God is found in the Pecos Wilderness in New Mexico, the dunes of Holland, and in the fishing town of Gloucester, Massachusetts. God is here Now.

Choosing to paint with oils on wood, using backgrounds from ordinary, yet sacred life, is part of my belief in the accessibility of God. My icons are rooted in traditional religious images, either paintings or early Christian icons. They are images that I have prayed with. They have moved me in my own journey, and thus, my intimate icons carry my passion and love.
