"Jesus Christ, Pantocrator" is a reminder of the wonderful, over-arching power of God in Christ. In the words of my friend and pastor, it "reminds me who is really in charge!". It is also a wonderfully warm and welcoming image. Christ invites us into relationship with God and with each other.
 
I am inspired daily by the Holy Spirit in my icon writing. Beginning with prayer and meditation, I seek to create images of Christ and Mary, along with many other saints, which will serve as focal points for others in their spiritual lives. Icons provide a wonderful means of drawing others into deeper relationship with God, and providing windows into heaven.
