Why

This drawing is my attempt to express "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" For those of us who have experienced deep loss this cry may
be a familiar one. I don't believe that God ever completely abandons any of us, but there have been times when I have felt utterly forsaken. The fact that Jesus also experienced this helps me feel that he is a brother who understands.
