Artist Statement: I merge science, technology, and art, incorporating Maine surroundings into the layers of my work. Evolving over four years of mixed media exploration, Petri Dish Series considers micro-biotic elements of land, sea, flora, and human cells. The Bio luminescent Ocean series interacts with florescent compounds altering textures and compositions of the surface with shifting light.

Bio: I am a Social Entrepreneur, A Citizen Scientist, and a Change Maker. An interest in the merging of science and art, Erin incorporates her Maine surroundings into layers of contemporary work. Nationally recognized, McGee has been collected by TD Ameritrade, AtlantiCare NJ, and Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Philadelphia. McGee serves on the Board of The National Episcopal Church and the Visual Arts and has shown work at the Arnot Museum, NY and The Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art, WI. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and University of the Arts Philadelphia. Other works are represented by Venn and Maker Gallery Maine.
