The Gardener and the dove in this picture are wonderful God images for me--God who nurtures and cares for creation, who brings and nourishes new life in us and in the world. The work speaks of the gift of growing in God's presence, of the graciousness of the Spirit, of God's work in the world and of God's gentle, yet powerful Wisdom.

Drawing and painting are my primary language, more comfortable than words. Through my art, I share the ongoing conversations I have with the world around me and the meaning that I see within the things I encounter. I share visually what I hear and see and how I respond to nature, events, and people in my daily life. The work included in this show are part of my ongoing dialogue/prayer with God. Some of them are responses to scripture; others are images that came out of the silence of listening in prayer.
