I enjoy working in any media. When that media is paint, I will draw the idea with paint, areas, and brush. This painting was designed to be both the front and back cover of the Christmas Eve service bulletin.
 
I am a cradle Episcopalian. My father was an Episcopal priest in Wisconsin and Iowa until his death in 1976. I was an art teacher in the Iowa City public schools from 1967-2002. My work usually is inspired by one of the lessons for that particular Sunday. I begin a work like to experiment with the angle, the light, the art material, the subject and the style of an idea.
