An Image of Gratitude

I was editing photographs taken during an Images of Gratitude photo retreat held at this amazing little Buddhist B&B outside of Hilo, Hawaii. Looking up, I noticed the small statue with an iridescent string of beads draped over the prayerful hands. It immediately spoke to me of gratitude—gratitude from the heart, and mind, and soul. Of all the images during that retreat, this was the one that stood out from the rest; the one that came to me when I was not out actively photographing. The one that spoke to me. Mahalo.
