The Way
of the Cross
On
April 4, 2004, a dedication was held for The Way of
the Cross at St James Episcopal Cathedral in Fresno,
California. Bronze bas-relief sculptures created by
artist Dorothy Gager representing the fourteen Stations
of the Cross, had been installed along the garden path
leading to the Chapel of the Holy Innocents.
This video created by Dan Hardison takes us through the
Stations of the Cross with a close-up view of Dorothy
Gager's sculpture. It also features the comments and
prayers by Bishop John-David Schofield recorded during
the dedication.
