Journey to
Resurrection

Born in
Jerusalem, Lucy Janjigian is now a widely recognized
painter, muralist, and sculptor. She has created a
series of paintings called "Journey to Resurrection"
based on her years of Bible study and personal
experiences growing up in Jerusalem. Together with
family photos, scenes from Jerusalem, and 33 of the
paintings from the series, "Journey to Resurrection" is now a 19 minute
video with narration provided by Lucy.

Of
Armenian descent, Lucy Janjigian was born and raised in
Jerusalem where her father taught at St George's Anglican Boys'
School. She attended English Mission schools in
Jerusalem, Palestine and in Beirut, Lebanon. After coming to the United States,
Lucy graduated Heidelberg College, Tiffin, Ohio, and
Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, and studied at the
Art Students League and the Stacy Studio Workshop in New
York City
Listed in "Who's Who in American Art", Lucy's work has
been exhibited around the world and hangs in many public,
private and corporate collections. The "Journey to
Resurrection" video has been shown extensively during
Lent in the United States and other countries including
Jerusalem, the Philippines, South Africa, France and
England. Lucy is a member of West Side Presbyterian Church
in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
