This Advent, I’m thinking of Mary, who embodied the “alien” seed of the Holy
Spirit. Does the heart of an Israeli mother cry out for the plight of a
Palestinian babe? Am I open to embrace the parts of myself that feel like
unwelcome guests? How do we engage the Stranger in our midst? |
