Artist Statement: During the time of COVID, Jeanne felt compelled to explore the writing of icons. She has been studying the history and techniques involved in this liturgical art and has found it rewarding.

Bio: Jeanne Harris Weaver, a full time resident of Cocoa Beach, Florida, paints at her condo home on the ocean. She is a published fine artist who works primarily in oils. Jeanne holds a BA degree from Florida Atlantic University. She studied oil painting for three years under master artist James Warrick Jones. She received an Honorary Degree from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia on May 17, 2017 for her series of paintings and book, Losing Todd: A Mother's Journey, published by the Muscarelle Museum of Art of the College of William and Mary.

As an artist, Jeanne continues to pursue knowledge of art and its techniques through color, form, light and composition striving to always be true to her personal form of expression.
