I have depicted Abraham as the great father archetype. Wise and weathered, fierce and intelligent, he is warrior, provider, and survivor. He is a man of tremendous spiritual intensity
and insight from whom three of the world's great religions have flowed. In this work, Abraham is both a man of the earth, and a mystic whose elemental nature and higher consciousness are represented by water, wind, and fire.
