Gratitude

Gratitude is the result of time spent in recovery from knee-replacement surgery.  God was so good to me, providing the strength to recover and the people to help me do so.  The symbols are milagros for many kinds of illnesses.  I thought of my friends who also needed to recover, and sent these images out as prayers.  I received tulips for Valentine's Day, and they are depicted as falling from the sky rather than being contained in a vase, gifts from heaven.  The feathers signify blessings and communication from above.  God send a beautiful butterfly to sit on my knee one day, another communication to have hope and patience, knowing that He is always with me.
