Mary's Dance With the Devil If I had been Mary at the foot of the Cross, I would have felt, perhaps, as Peter felt (as expressed in Matthew 16:23). I would have wanted to use whatever "saw" existed at the time to save my Son; but that was not the saving that Christ's death meant for the world. What a dilemma for a mother then, and for those today who see their sons off to war. |
