Artist Statement: This pastel was created during an August sun setting and while the tide was at its extreme ebb.
In some way it is a metaphor for the diminishing vitality of our fragile planet.

Bio: I am a retired Episcopal priest living and working as an artist in Milton, Massachusetts.
