Angel
on a Foggy Path

My work as a younger artist focused on three-dimensional pieces that
were
constructed from paper, fiber and found objects. The theme of many of
these works
revolved around mythology, both ancient Greek tales and Native American
Indian folk
legends. The myths all had a common dominator: nature and/or reflections
of nature
as illustrative parts of the work.
Seasons have passed. New experiences have brought new insights, new delights,
new visions, and unsurprisingly another new but yet unsought path. Photography has
become my passion and my delight; a digital work flow, the new medium through
which to express. The themes of my works still are clearly inspired by nature and by
what is unseen beyond our limited senses. My hope for my work is this: that nature is
informed by wisdom and that divinity is instilled in all things. My hope is that my vision
echos the following notion as quoted by Joseph Campbell, "…… an undefinable,
inconceivable mystery, thought of as a power, that is the source and end and
supporting ground of all life and being."
