Artist Statement: During the quarantine, I often found myself drawn to scripture readings/reflections - unable to feel comforted; drawn to canvas - uninspired to paint; challenged by zoom gatherings - still feeling lonely. Considering myself to be a positive person... I realize I was the caterpillar (just when the caterpillar thought the world was over) and I longed to become the butterfly and fly! |
