Artist Statement: O EMMANUEL, God with us, our King and Lawgiver, the expected of the nations and their Savior: Come to save us, O Lord our God. — Isaiah 7:14; 33:22.

Icon painting in the 21st century is not technically easy or a medium many want to work with in our instant age. The particles are so small and the emulsion is full of life together they open us to a world so few of us take time to see. To believe in something you cannot see, demands balance and perseverance. I never stop believing there is a purpose for each of us, compelling us to go where others dare not tread. Mystery is found in the Eucharist.
