Statement:
At the moment of the Annunciation, Mary prayerfully offers
herself and her body to God, that within her body God might
become incarnate in human flesh and dwell among us.
Bio:
I am an ELCA pastor and social worker, happily and blessedly
retired at River Respite Benedictory, www.riverrespite.com,
on the St Lawrence River in Upstate New York, where I pray and
paint icons in peaceful solitude. My husband Richard is a
Brother of St Gregory (BSG/TEC) and together we offer the
hospitality of River Respite to other clergy and vowed
religious. |
