Ghouls of God and Me Photograph |
Artist Statement: Richard Bellows photographed this picture of God playing with the subconscious, by playing with the surface reflection of branches and leaves. To the artist they look like ghouls. He wonders: does that say something about God or the artist? It may look as if the picture were a distortion of reality, but it is real, as proven by the pine needles and debris floating on the surface of the water. bio: Richard Bellows is a priest, photographer, and poet. He is retired and living in Westfield, Massachusetts. |
