Artist Statement: What really eclipses in our life, that is beckoning the presence of God's stories woven into our day to day? Do we need special glasses to see, or events to celebrate God's holy eclipse in the ordinary? Somehow nature reminds me to look, see, hear, enjoy the sacred. bio: Rara is a folk artist who resides in East Tennessee. She is wife, mother, pediatric physical therapist, spiritual director, children's author, book illustrator and art festival painter. It is not uncommon to find her walking along the lake, relaxing by a mountain stream, or listening to music. |
