This is a strange image to
enter into this show but I believe it to be appropriate. This painting
talks about isolation. There are Squash in the box, and yet there is a
squash that is not included... on its own.
We all want to be "in the
box." When we are on the outside, we crave an invitation to come in. I
often feel both in and out of the box at the same time.
