Psalm 30: Joy in the Morning

Weeping may linger for the night,
but joy comes with the morning.

This work, inspired by the Indiana winter landscape, bears witness to the hope and promise ingredient in each new day.

Created from synthetic ultra suede and artist-dyed cotton that was painted, screen-printed with texturing patterns, and appliquéd. This work was then embellished with machine-stitching and additional screen-printed imagery.
