Light Within
Medium: Oil on canvas Artist Statement: This painting was one of those rare "gifts" created in a day by quieting that critical voice and just letting it happen. A Holy Spirit moment. I am drawn to abstractions that come from our imaginations. It's like jazz. It's for the observer to discover a meaning all their own. In reflection, this painting speaks to me of light breaking forth. It's the light of the world shining through the darkness. It's the light within us all that we are called to share.
