Sarah is worn out. She has reached old age, and God's promise that she will bear Abraham a son and be the mother of nations has not yet come to pass. The sadness, frustration and the experiences of a lifetime are etched on her face, but light still shines in her eyes. There's more life to be lived, more wisdom to be gained and shared, and more to her story. This strong willed, impatient guide has much to teach us: God's promises are sure. Growth, change, birth, and new life are always possible. It's never too late.
