The title "Cause of Our Joy" is taken from the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

It honors Mary's mothering presence in the world which is sometimes felt in the hush at Dawn. And sometimes it can be discerned in a person. This image is given in memory of Mary Elizabeth and Virginia Lee Mary whose gifts accompany me day-by-day.
