The Star shines for us
Acrylic paint, foam board, jewels, The star shines brightly in our hearts. Reminding us once again of the coming of the Christ child. This story ignites in us our hope, faith and love we have for this child, born so long ago to be the Savior of the whole world. The symbol of the star has always been a fascination for me. It is like the cross going ahead of the mass making us ready for what we are about to receive. All that is within me cries holy. This outward and visible sign of what is to come is a symbol of the preparation of the coming of Christ’s birth which Christians have been celebrating for over 2,000 years. Our hope is rekindled once again. Our faith is ignited once more and our love restored for this precious child who would become the Savior, Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God and Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. |
