Promised Spring
When winter’s snow is
deep upon my heart, Most of us have experienced the chill of disappointment and disillusionment, the icy grip of loss and bereavement. Our baptismal covenant reminds us that Christ, as the Son of God, is the Light that we must continually seek. He is the "clarity" of our pledge and common commitment to “perfectly love” God our Father. He is the "kiss" of promised renewal: "Ask, and ye shall have; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." We need only to follow the path, with God's help. If we do this collectively, with joined hands, we are stronger for it. curator's statement | list of artists
