Listen to this passage from Daniel Matt’s translation of the Zohar: “Come and see: here is opening within opening, rung upon rung, through which the glory of the blessed Holy One becomes known. Opening of the tent is opening of Righteousness, as is said ‘Open for me the gates of Righteousness.” This is you – this is me – seeking an escort to opening within opening, rung upon rung.

As a faith community, we offer thanks and praise to the Lord. We also offer atonement.

There is a place on earth, an ancient place, the Holy of Holies. When the High Priest plunges himself in to the Holy of Holies on the Day of Atonement, he represents us to God, one on one, face to face, man to blessed Holy One.

There was a period in history when they lost a lot of High Priests in that place.
