Jeanne Harris Weaver

Fishers of Men

Artist Statement: Just as He did with Peter, depicted in this 16 x 20 inch oil painting, Jesus asks us to follow Him and to become fishers of men. And when we do so, we find His love shelters us from a world of disharmony and strengthens us to endure an imperfect world.

As we continue "The Jesus Movement", we then are an example to others to see that each day, filled with the Holy Spirit, we too witness God’s blessings, God’s miracles, God’s love. With His love we are liberated from the fears of a world in disharmony. We are given life eternal.
