Joe Kenney

Jesus the Good Shepherd

Artist Statement: “Jesus the Good Shepherd” presents a visual reminder of our Shepherd who feeds the flock, cares for the flock, loves the flock unconditionally and is willing to lay down his life for the flock, the perfect example of selfless love. The sculpture is designed to evoke an awareness of our call to follow the example of Jesus to love one another, avoid self-centeredness and strive to be outwardly directed in our relationships.
