Artist Statement: The Antiphon, O Radix Jesse, was designed by Sidney Sneed, a member of The Illuminators group at the Episcopal Church of St. Mary's, Phoenix. He envisioned this sacred name of Jesus to be symbolized by the dove, who appeared over Jesus at His baptism. The symbol of the dove is recognized as the bringer of peace and good will.
