The Child Soldiers of Beslan
When the school was
attacked in Beslan, North Ossetia. it struck me that the soldiers were
not much older than the children in the school—and the school children
were forced into being soldiers. The irony is that they
were both soldiers and children simultaneously.
When catastrophic events
overtake us, we must depend on God and know that despite our ages, we
are all called to be Christ-like. And we can only do this with God's
help.
