Fata Mullinax

Mother and Child
Graphite on Herculene Acetate

Statement: Her arduous labor complete, Mary's eyes reflect the joy of new motherhood and the fulfillment of God's promise. At this time the sacrifice that will be required later seems far away, obliterated in the bliss of sharing her newborn, perfect son.
