Under the Shadow of God's Wing, the child rests safely in a tender embrace. This is an image of God's Love astounding, of the gracious spirit, and of all things coming home to Christ. This image grew out of a prayer for a friend in need of just such comfort, protection and peace.
 
Drawing and painting are my primary language, more comfortable than words. Through my art, I share the ongoing conversations I have with the world around me and the meaning that I see within the things I encounter. I share visually what I hear and see and how I respond to nature, events, and people in my daily life. The work included in this show are part of my ongoing dialogue/prayer with God. Some of them are responses to scripture; others are images that came out of the silence of listening in prayer.
